Article 56 - Licenses

314.

Licenses shall expire on the thirtieth day of September
next following their issuance or renewal and shall become
invalid on that date unless renewed. It is the duty of the
Board to notify, at his last registered address, every
person registered under this subheading of the date of
expiration of his license and the amount of fee necessary
for its renewal for one (1) year; this notice shall be
mailed at least thirty (30) days in advance of the date of
expiration of said license. The [Board shall each year,
prior to issuing renewal notices for the ensuing year, fix
the] annual renewal fee for licenses[, which renewal fee]
shall [not exceed the sum of ten dollars ($10.00)] BE $50
25. The Board shall make an exception to the foregoing
renewal provision in the case of a person serving in the
armed forces of the United States.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

(Senate Bill 929)

AN ACT concerning

Theft Laws - Security Interests
on Conditional Sales

FOR the purpose of deleting the requirement that an
agreement be specific when, if that agreement is
absent, a person in lawful possession of property has a
right of possession superior to that of a person having
only a security interest in the property under certain
circumstances; and generally relating to the defenses
and presumptions available in the theft of property.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
