to file a petition, the complainant, within 15 days of
personal notice to him, or the mailing to his last known
address of the denial, may appeal the denial to the State's
attorney. The State's attorney shall review the denial. If
he concludes that the court has jurisdiction and that
judicial action is in the best interests of the public or
the child, he may file a petition. This petition shall be
filed within [15] 30 days of the receipt of the
complainant's appeal.

3-812.

(b) Petitions alleging delinquency or violation of
Section 3-831 shall be prepared and filed by the State's
attorney. A petition alleging delinquency shall be filed
within [15] 30 days after the receipt of a referral from the
intake officer. All other petitions shall be prepared and
filed by the intake officer.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

(Senate Bill 342)

AN ACT concerning

Police Allegany County - Mutual Aid Agreements

FOR the purpose of providing that counties, municipalities,
and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning

Commission, may enter into reciprocal police aid

agreements with other counties and municipalities, to

furnish police assistance as determined by the

governing body of the county or municipality in
Allegany County mutual aid agreements may be made in
accordance with certain criteria; and clarifying
language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

Section 602B(d)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
