involved in the accident. In that case, the owner shall
report the matter and file the evidence of insurance as
required of the driver.

(c)  The Administration may require the driver or owner
of the vehicle to file supplemental written reports if, in
its opinion, the original report is insufficient.

(d)  A written accident report is not required under
this section:

(1)  If the accident has been investigated by a
police officer and a report by the police officer has been
filed with the Maryland State Police; or

(2)  From any person while that person is
physically incapable of making the report.

SECTION 2 AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Juvenile Causes - Delinquency Petition

FOR the purpose of increasing the time period within which
the State's attorney is to file a petition alleging
delinquency of a juvenile.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings
Section 3-810(h) and 3-812(b)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

3-810.

(h) If the complaint alleges the commission of a
delinquent act and the intake officer denies authorization
