AN INVESTIGATION OR IN A JUDICIAL PROCEEDING ARISING FROM A
REPORT IS IMMUNE FROM ANY CIVIL LIABILITY FOR THIS ACTION.

(E) ANY PERSON WHO ABUSES A MENTALLY RETARDED PERSON
UNDER THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON
CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $1,000 OR
IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 18 MONTHS OR BOTH FINED AND
IMPRISONED.

(F) ANY PERSON WHO FAILS OR REFUSES TO MAKE A REPORT
REQUIRED UNDER THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND
ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $1,000.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Racing Commission Licensed Racetracks -
Sunday Racing

FOR the purpose of prohibiting Sunday racing at the Southern
Maryland Agricultural Association of Prince George's
County race track in Bowie, and making this Act an
emergency measure.

FOR the purpose of prohibiting Sunday racing at licensed
racetracks in this State; providing for a certain
exception; and generally relating to Sunday racing.
