Such funds shall be used for the construction of the
addition to the hospital which has been planned and approved
and for no other purposes. It is further provided that the
County Commissioners of St. Mary's County are hereby
authorized to appropriate the sum of up to one hundred fifty
thousand dollars ($150,000.) to subsidize the added
construction, expansion and increased scope of the
hospital's Phase I construction program. The Commissioners
are further authorized to pledge the credit of the county
and to borrow this amount from a bank or banks in St. Mary's
County by an open note to be amortized over a period of ten
(10) years. The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County
are hereby authorized to appropriate the sum of up to ten
thousand dollars ($10,000.) for participation in the
construction of an incinerator plant for ' St. Mary's
Hospital.
B. Medical equipment. The County Commissioners of St.
Mary's County may appropriate public funds and approve the
budgeting for the purchase of medical equipment for St.
Mary's Hospital.]

The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County are
hereby authorized to make an annual appropriation, not to
exceed seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500), to the
St. Mary's Hospital, Inc., for the hire of a resident
physician.]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
St. Mary's County - Ordinance Requirements
FOR the purpose of repealing certain provisions of Public
Local Laws of St. Mary's County pertaining to hearings
required on ordinances; and providing that the
provision in Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland pertaining to hearings required on ordinances
shall apply to St. Mary's County.
