   I give also to my Daughter Elizabeth the lot which I bought of the —
           & Governors
   Visitors ^ of Washington College to her and her Executors Admrs & Assigns
     I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Bordley the —
   following Negroes forever to Wit, Chester, Beck, little Joe, and
   Pet, my Silver spoons marked S, B, and the residue of my
   plate it is my Will should be equally divided between my Wife
   and my two daughters Sarah and Elizabeth —
   I give unto my Daughter Sarah the Choice of a Horse (my wifes .-
   carriage Horse which I bequeath to her Excepted ) —
   I give unto my daughter Elizabeth the second choice of a Horse —
   Except as before excepted . ——
   I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth for ever the following
   Negroes to wit Dick, Rachel, Sal, and Abe, —
   I give and bequeath to my Negro Joe ten pounds to be paid him at
   Christmas, and also a Horse which he rides, —
   I give and bequeath to my wife my Negro Joe during her Widowhood
   remainder to my son Thomas and it is my earnest Will and desire
   that my said Negro Joe should not be removed as to his residence from
   my plantation, unless it should be his deisre. ——
   I give and bequeath to my dear wife, the following Negroes, to Wit
   George, Nanie, Dark, and Dinah, and all my Househould Furniture
   in Chester Town for ever, the said Negroes so devised, to be in full
   of her dower or third part of my Negroes; I also give my wife my
   Carriage or chaise =— I give and bequeath to my dear wife, one third
   part of my Real Estate, during her Natural life, and also I give ~
   unto her, forever one third part of my personal Estate not heretofore
   devised, the Residue to be equally divided among my Children —
   I give and bequeath to Peregrine Lethrbury one hundred pounds for
   the use of my Natural child called Sarah Bordley if my said Trustee
   Peregrine Lethrbury should upon Examination into her Moral life
   and Conduct think her deserving of the same, and it is my Will if
   he should think otherwise, that my said bequest should sink into
   my personal Estate . ——
