     In the name of God amen I John Wallis of Kent County and
   State of Maryland being weak of Body but of sound and disposing –
   mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and ~
   and Testament Vizt.   Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Brother
   Samuel Wallis my dwelling plantation with all its Improvements ~
   thereon to him and his heirs forever, —
   Item I give and bequeath to my Brother Hugh Wallis my Quarters –
   plantation with all its Improvements thereon to him and his heirs
   forever, likewise all my wearing apparel. — Item I give and ~
   bequeath to my Brother William Wallis and his heirs forever my Lot with
   its Improvements thereon in Chester Town formerly the property of James –
   Doran ~   Item I give and bequeath to my Brother William Wallis to ~
   him and his heirs forever my plantation called Howels Range with all its ~
   Improvements thereon Containing about one hundred and fifty acres now in
   the possession of Colo. Perkins. — Item I give & bequeath to my Brother William
   Wallis Six Hundred pounds to be paid out of my personal Estate ~
   Item I give and bequeath the remainder of my personal Estate to be equally ~
   divided amongst my three Brothers Viz Samuel, William, and Hugh —
   And Lastly I appoint my whole and sole Exexutors of this my Last Will and
   Testament my Brothers Vizt. Samuel and William In Witness whereof
   I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Thirteenth day of December Anno
   Domini one thousand seven hundred and Eighty three. —

   February 19. 1784. Then came John Eccleston Mary Riley & Mary Morris the
   three Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and Testament of John Wallis
   late of Kent County deced, and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty
   that they did See John Wallis the Testator herein named sign and seal this
   Will and heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his ~
   last Will and Testament and that at the same time of his so doing he w[as]
