   to him Administerd affirmation to him Administer’d, Affirm &
   declare, that they did see the Testator therein named sign & Seal this —
   Will, And that they heard him publish pronounce and declare the
   same to be his Last Will and Testament, That at the time of his
   so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of sound and
   disposing mind, memory and Understanding; And that they respectively
   Subscribed their names as Witnesses to this Will in the presence, and -
   at the request of the Testator; and in the presence of each other —

       In the name of God Amen  I William Salisburry of Kent
   County in the State of Maryland Farmer calling to mind the Uncertainty
   of this transitory life, and the certainty of death, but at the same time
   of perfect sound mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God for
   the same, doth publish make and ordain this my last Will and . ~
   Testament, that is to say principally and first of all I recommend
   my Soul into the hands of God that gave it, and my Body to the —
   Earth to be Buryed in a Christian like and decent manner at the
   directions of my Exers. and as touch such worldly Estate as it has
   pleased God to bless me with in this life I give divise and dispose of
   the same in the following manner,—Imprimis after my Just Debts —
   and Funeral charges be paid and my dearly beloved wife Issabella —
   Salisburry’s thirds taken out I give dovise and bequeath unto my Son —
   William Salisburry the sum of Five pounds Sterling. ——
   Item I give devise and bequeath unto my son James Salisburry all that
   plantation where^onI now live Containing about Four Hundred & forty -
   Acres be the same more or less with all the Improvements and. —
   Appurtenances thereunto belonging or any wise appertaining to him
   [hi]s Heirs and Assigns forever.— Item I give and bequeath unto my^s.dSon ~
