{251} Die before my Will is that the said Negroes be equally divided between my son John and my Daughter Elizabeth and the survivor of them the other leaving no Issue Item I do hereby authorise and impower my Executor hereafter named to sell the houses And lott I bought of Thomas M.cCluer Executor of John Bolton and the money Arising from the sale to appropriate and apply to the Payment of the money I owe for the Purchase of the said House, and lott and the rents due or that may hereafter become due for the said houses, and lott, it is my Will be applied in the same manner, And if my Executor herein after named doth not take upon himself the burthen of my last Will and the Trust in Administrators should have the same Power and Authority in selling the said houses and lott as my Executor herein named if he had acted Item I give and devise the remainder of my Estate not herein before devised, to be equally divided between my dear Wife – and all my Children, share and share alike And lastly I do hereby – Constitute and appoint my friend M.r William Slubey of Chester Town Maryland Executor of this my last Will and Testament, revoking and Annulling all former Wills by me heretofore made Ratifying and Confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament ~ In testimony whereof I have hereunto ~ set my hand and affixed my Seal this eight day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five Robert Constable {{sSs}} |
