( 25 ) hand and Seal this twenty first day of September Anno Domi 1770 Henry Claark . () The within Will was Signed Sealed published and declared by the within Testator to be his last Will & Testament in presents of us who were requested by him to Sign the same as Witness the day ~ ^&date within mentioned Jas Brady, Jas Pearce, Elijah Massey. April 12th. 1782 Came James Brady and James Pearce two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will and Testament of Henry Clark late of Kent County deceased, and Severally made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did see the Testator therein named ~ sign and seal this Will, and that they heard him publish, pronounce & declare the same to be his last Will & Testament, that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of sound disposing mind, memory, and understanding; And that^theyrespectively Subscribed their names as Witness to this Will. (together with Elijah Massey the other Subscribing Witness within named) in the presence, and at the request of the Testator, and in the presence of each other. Recorded.
