{248} In the Name of God Amen I Ann Gilbert Wife of George Gilbert of Kent County in the State of Maryland Farmer by virtue of a Power to me in that behalf given and Reserved by virtue of certain Articles of agreement made with my said Husband before my intermarriage with him Bearing date the Twenty fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty eight for giving and disposing of all the Negroes Goods Chattles Monies debts owing to me and Personal Estate whatsoever whereof I then was or ever there= = after should be Possessed of as by the said Agreement will appear do give and and Bequeath as follows &3151 Item I give and bequeath the Sum of Thirty Pounds current Money and a Bed and furniture to Sarah Hynson daughter of John Carvill Hynson. Item I give and Bequeath all the Rest and Residue of my above mentioned Personal Estate that I may die Possessed of to my Sister Hannah Hynson but in case the said Hannah should die in my life time, then I give and bequeath all my said Residue to Mary Ann Calder daughter of Alex= = ander and Mary Calder, Phebe Hynson, Mary Hynson, Welthy Ann Hynson Sarah Hynson and Rebecca Hynson all daughters of John Carvill Hynson equally to be divided between them and to the Survivors of them equally to be divided between them Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my Sister Hannah Hynson to be Executrix of this my last Will and Testament annulling all former Wills by me heretofore made and Confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament, In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and affixed my Seal this Twentieth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty eight Ann Gilbert {Seal} turn Over |
