      In the Name of God Amen. I Anthony Banning of Kent County
   in Maryland being of sound and Perfect Mind and Memory do make and
 ^Ordainthis my last Will and Testament in manner and form following — — –
   Imp,s I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine all my Estate both
   Real and Personal after the Payment of my Just debts and two legcies —
   hereafter mentioned, to her my said Daughter Catherine and her heirs forever
   Imp.s I give unto Samuel Thomas, Son of Sarah Thomas who afterwards —
   intermarried with a certain Joseph Floyd^of TalbotCounty, and unto Anthony
   Mansfield son of Sarah Mansfield who afterwards intermarried with
   one FitzPatrick of the same County to each if they shou’d be then living
   one hundred Pounds common Currency to be laid out either on their ~
   Education or any other way that my Executors hereafter mentioned shall
   think fit My desire is that my Lands, and such of my Negroes as do not
   chuse to be Sold, may for the benefet of my Daughter be rented out, obliging the
   Tenant to make every necessary repair and improvement and to oblege them
   to use the Negroes with Humanity and keep them well Cloathed — Oxford
   and Cato to be hired to none others but such Persons as they chuse to
   live with from year to year — My earnest desire and will^alsois that my Child
   may have a good Education the expences thereof I leave to the descretion of
   my Executors, who I Trust will be careful whose hands they Place her in
   and when she my said Daughter arrives at the Age of sixteen years
   I do ordain that she may devise her Estate to whomsoever she may think
   Proper- but if she Dies before she arrives at that Age or marries, In
   that case I Give my Real and Personal Estate to my two Brothers Jeremiah
   and Henry Banning upon their making Payment of One hundred Pounds ~
