(148) Daughters and my Son Joseph except the young Colt with the white Mare, which said Colt I Give my daughter Frances as a Legacy exclusive of equal part of the Stock as expressed above and my will and Desire is that all the remainder of my Estate of what kind soever be equally divided among my four Children Above named I also discharge Alexander Calder and his heirs, and the heirs of John Clark |of Quaker Neck| from all or any Claims which I have against them by Account or otherwise And lastly I appoint my son Simon Wickes as Executor of this my~ last will and Testament, hereby revoking all other Wills heretofore by me made as witness my hand and Seal this Twenty first day of November Seventeen hundred and Eighty three

Joseph Wickes above Written being desirous to provide for my Daughter Frances more than above written do Give her untill She is Married free use of my part of my House that is over my Cellar to Occupy it as She pleases with her own Residence and give her wood off of my now Dwelling plantation, to make her fires Sufficient for the said House or part of a house, and Desire my son Simon not to disturbe her my said Daughter during the said Time of her Single life, but Suffer her to Occupy the same with her own person and Such attendance as She may think fitt to employ As Witness my hand and Seal the day and year Above written Jo: Wickes {Seal} Sign’d Sealed and Declared to be my will or Codicil in presence of John Moore Junr, William Gibbins |
