   and after my Mothers death if she leaves any thing Remaining. –
   my Will and desire is that a Child I own namely Francis Newnam ~
   to have all she leaves of my Estate,   3dly. Item my Will & desire is
   that my beloved Mother Margaret Jones shall be my Whole & Sole
   Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, Revoking & Annulling
   all former Wills by me heretofore made, Ratifying this & none other
   to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness^Testimonywhereof whereof I have
   hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this ——

   Acquila Page, Wm. Merritt. —
   February 8th. 1785 Then came Acquilla Page and William Merritt —
   the two Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will & Testament
   of Peter Jones late of Kent County deceased, and made oath on the
   Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that they did See the Testator herein
   named Sign and Seal this Will, and heard him publish pronounce &
   declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, And that he was
   to the best of their Understanding of Sound disposing mind Memory
   and Undestanding, And that they Severally Subscribed their names
   as Witnesses to this Will, in the presence, and at the Request of—
   the Testator, and in the presence of each other ——

   The last Will and Testament of James Laurance late of Kent County deced
   declared by him by word of Mouth on the ninth day of January 1785 ~
   being then sick of the Sickness whereof he died, in the presence of us the
     Subscribers
  ^who Signed our names as Witnesses thereof Which words so Spoken ware
   as follows, That his wife should have the whole of his Estate. In Witness –
    whereof we have hereunto set our hands this 10. day of January 1785
