SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Transportation

12-118.

(D) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (B)(1) OF THIS
SECTION-(d) Except as provided in subsection (b)(1) of this
section, AND EXCEPT FOR FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE DEPARTMENT
AND THE MARYLAND TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR SERVICES
RENDERED UNDER AGREEMENTS WITH THE DEPARTMENT AND THE
MARYLAND TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY, THE SALARIES AND EXPENSES
OF THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE AND THE STATE POLICE RETIREMENT
SYSTEM SHALL BE PAID FROM THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THIS STATE.
the salaries and expenses of the Maryland State Police and
the State Police Retirement System shall be paid from the
general funds of this State.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages - Baltimore County - License Expiration

FOR the purpose of increasing in Baltimore County the period
of timer following the licensee's vacation or eviction
from the licensed premises, often after which the
license shall expire; making this period uniformly
applicable to all instances of vacation or eviction
from the licensed premises; and clarifying language.
