LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 279

(D) (1) NOTWITHSTANDING SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS
SECTION, IF ANY STUDENT IS A RESIDENT OF THIS STATE AND
ENROLLS IN AN INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM THAT THE STATE BOARD FOR
COMMUNITY COLLEGES DESIGNATES AS A STATEWIDE OR REGIONAL
PROGRAM, THE STUDENT SHALL PAY ONLY THE STUDENT TUITION AND
FEES PAYABLE BY A RESIDENT OF A COUNTY THAT SUPPORTS THE
COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND THE STATE BOARD FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES
SHALL PAY ANY APPLICABLE OUT-OF-COUNTY FEE.

(2) THE STATE BOARD FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES MAY
MAKE PAYMENTS TO EFFECTUATE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION
FROM FUNDS SPECIFICALLY APPROPRIATED FOR THIS PURPOSE AS
PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET OR ANY SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
REQUEST.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

Maryland Port Administration - Cambridge Port Facility

FOR the purpose of requiring the Maryland Port
Administration to operate and maintain the port
facility at Cambridge; and generally relating to the
operation and maintenance of the port facility at
Cambridge, Maryland.

Section 6-205

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1977 Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Transportation

6-205.

UNDER THE AUTHORITY GRANTED BY SECTION 6-204(I) OF THIS
ARTICLE, THE MARYLAND PORT ADMINISTRATION SHALL OPERATE AND
MAINTAIN THE PORT FACILITY PRESENTLY UNDER ITS JURISDICTION
