CENTRAL COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT, AND ONE SHALL BE
ELECTED FROM AMONG THE VOTERS WHO RESIDE IN THE SOUTH COUNTY
COMMISSIONER DISTRICT.

(D)  ALTHOUGH COUNTY COMMISSIONER CANDIDATES ARE
REQUIRED TO RESIDE IN SPECIFIED COUNTY COMMISSIONER
DISTRICTS, THEY SHALL BE ELECTED ON A COUNTYWIDE BASIS.

(E)  THE FIVE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL BE RESIDENTS
OF THE THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICTS AND OF
DORCHESTER COUNTY FOR 1 YEAR PRIOR TO ELECTION TO OFFICE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Voter Registration Lists - Supplemental Information

FOR the purpose of requiring the boards of supervisors of
elections and the State Administrative Board of
Election Laws to provide applicants for voter
registration lists with certain supplemental
information, under certain conditions; extending
certain provisions regarding voter registration lists
to this supplemental information; and clarifying
language.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
