Calvert County - Dog and Cat Regulation
FOR the purpose of granting the Calvert County Commissioners
the authority to pass certain ordinances containing dog
and cat regulations, including regulations which may be
in addition to or which may change or modify existing
provisions regarding licensing and control of dogs
contained in the Public Local Laws of Calvert County
which permit the promulgation of rules and regulations
concerning dogs and cats.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:
Article 5 - Calvert County
149A.
IN ADDITION TO AND NOT IN SUBSTITUTION FOR THE POWERS
GRANTED UNDER SECTIONS 147 AND 148 AND OTHER PROVISIONS OF
THIS SUBTITLE, THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS BY ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION MAY PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF DOGS AND CATS
WITHIN THE COUNTY, INCLUDING LICENSING AND CONTROL. THE
RULES AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION MAY
BE IN ADDITION TO, OR MAY CHANGE OR MODIFY, THE PROVISIONS
OF THIS SUBTITLE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:

(P) IN ADDITION TO AND NOT IN SUBSTITUTION FOR ANY
