AN ACT concerning

Worcester County - Alcoholic Beverages
(License Fees)

FOR the purpose of altering certain alcoholic beverage fees
in Worcester County; providing for the effect of
certain enactments relating to the alcoholic content of
certain light wines in Worcester County; and clarifying
language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 8(k), 9(k)(l), 10(k), ll(n)(l), 13(k)(l),
14(1)(1), 15(i), 16(y)(l), 19(y)(l), 20(m-l)
and (m-l-a), and 21(j)(l), (2) and (3)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

8. Beer License, Class A (off-sale).

(k) In Worcester County the annual [six (6)] 6 day
license fee is $[175] 200 175 and the annual [seven (7)] 7
day license fee is $[200] 225 200. The hours for sale are
as provided in § 106 (c) of this article.

9. Beer license, Class B (on-sale) - Hotels and restaurants.

(k) (1) In Worcester County, the annual fees for the
following types of licenses are:

(i) Six day -- $[250] 290 250

(ii) Seven day, applied countywide
(exclusive of tenth election district) — $[275] 325 300

(iii) Seven day, tenth election district
only -- $[300] 325 300

10. Beer license, Class C (on-sale) - Clubs.

(k) In Worcester County the annual license fee for
such a license [shall be one hundred twenty-five dollars
($125.00)] IS $200 125. The hours for sale shall be as
provided in § 106 (c) of this article.
