Alcoholic Beverages - Montgomery County Hours of Sale

FOR the purpose of making uniform the hours of sale for
certain beer and beer and light wine licenses in
Montgomery County; and generally relating to hours of
sale of beer and beer and light wine licenses in
Montgomery County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

102.

(d) (1) The privileges conferred on a Class A
(off-sale) beer license and Class A (off-sale) beer and
light wine license may be exercised from 6 a.m. to [12
midnight] 1 A.M. THE DAY following for every day including
Sunday.

(2) The privileges conferred on a Class B and
Class D beer license and the privileges conferred on a Class
B and Class D beer and light wine license may be exercised
from 6 a.m. to [12 midnight] 1 A.M. THE DAY following for
every day including Sunday for off sale.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
