The county roads engineer or the assistant county roads
engineer, whichever shall be designated by the county roads
board, shall serve as secretary of the county roads board.]

[13-20.

The county roads board shall have power to cooperate
and contract with agencies of federal, state, county or
local governments for the construction or maintenance of
roads under its supervision. The county roads board shall
have the power to enter into contracts for the purpose of
carrying on the construction and maintenance of the roads
herein mentioned, such contracts to be awarded to the lowest
qualified bidder. The board shall have such further power
as is reasonably necessary to carry out the duties assigned
to it under the terms of this chapter.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Caroline County - Bonds -
Caroline County Nursing Home

FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 278 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1977 to alter the aggregate amount
that the County Commissioners of Caroline County may
borrow and issue and sell bonds for, the proceeds of
the bonds to be used as set forth in that Act in regard
to an addition to the Caroline County Nursing Home
owned by Caroline County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 278 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1977
