AN ACT concerning

General Assembly - Review of Federally Funded Projects

FOR the purpose of correcting an erroneous cross-reference
in the law concerning evaluations of federally funded
projects by the Joint Budget and Audit Committee of the
General Assembly.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 40 - General Assembly

Section 56A

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 40 - General Assembly

56A.

The committee shall review those federally funded
projects, programs, grants, contracts or reimbursements
received by the State and which will require subsequent
general fund appropriations in future fiscal years. The
review shall be based on the evaluations prepared under the
provisions of § [20(b-2)] 20(B-3) of Article 15A. The
committee shall report to the General Assembly as to the
suitability of the federally funded items and submit
recommendations with respect to the amount of future general
fund appropriations.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Dorchester County - Volunteer Fire Departments

FOR the purpose of altering the amounts which the County
Commissioners of Dorchester County shall pay annually
to the several volunteer fire companies in Dorchester
