(Senate Bill 315)

AN ACT concerning

Solicitor's Permit - Fees

FOR the purpose of increasing the initial application fee
paid to the State Board of Higher Education for a
solicitor's permit; and setting an annual renewal fee
for the permit.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Education

Section 12-302(d)(2)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Education

12-302.

(d) (2) If the Board approves the application, on
payment of [a] AN INITIAL fee of [$5] $25, it shall issue a
permit to the solicitor. THE RENEWAL FEE IS $25.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

Approved May 1, 1979.
