(e) (1) In Calvert County the State's Attorney's
salary is $22,500 annually. He may, with the approval of
the County Commissioners, appoint a deputy whose salary
shall be set by the Commissioners.

(2)  The deputy State's attorney shall serve at
the pleasure of the State's Attorney and have the same legal
power as the State's Attorney to represent the State before
the grand jury and at the trial of criminal proceedings.

(3)  THE STATE'S ATTORNEY MAY WITH THE APPROVAL
OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPOINT ASSISTANT STATE'S
ATTORNEYS, AS NECESSARY TO PROPERLY STAFF HIS OFFICES, AT
SALARIES SET BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

FOR the purpose of changing certain alcoholic beverage
license fees in Anne Arundel County.

Section 13(c), 14(b), and 16(c)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

(c) In Anne Arundel County the annual license fee
[therefor shall be one hundred and ten dollars ($110.00) IS
