AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Individual Storage Permits)

FOR the purpose of providing that retailers in Anne Arundel
County must have written approval from the board of
license commissioners before making application with
the Comptroller for an individual storage permit; and
clarifying language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 4(g)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

4.

(g) (1) The holder of an individual storage permit
[shall be] IS authorized to establish a warehouse for the
storage of alcoholic beverages in which title to such STORED
alcoholic beverages [so stored] is vested in [such] THE
permit holder.

(2) IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY ALL RETAILERS SHALL
HAVE WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY BEFORE MAKING
APPLICATION WITH THE COMPTROLLER FOR SUCH A PERMIT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
