AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section I—215 I.B.,VII. B., and VII. E. of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article II,
"Classified Service", to add new Section I217(b) (18A),
(40A) , (98A), (257A) , (257B), (259A), and (260A) , to said
Code, Title, Subtitle and Article; to create new positions,
salary grades, and minimum qualifications for Wastewater
Division Assistant Chief, Building Construction Supervisor,
Computer Systems Programmer, Utility Diesel Mechanic
Specialist, Utility Industrial Electrician, Utility
Maintenance Supervisor and Utility Operations
Instrumentation Specialist; and matters generally related
thereto.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re—enact, with amendments,
Sections 12-2002, 12-2006(3)(1) and (4), 12-2007,
12-2010(a), 12-2014, 12-2020(a) (1) and 12-2038 of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title
12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Subtitle 20,
"Grading and Sediment Control", and to add new Sections
12-2000(c) (21A) AND (25A) and 12-2038A to the same Code,
Title and Subtitle, to follow immediately after Sections
12-2000(c)(25) and 12-2038, respectively, thereof; and to
repeal Section 12-2011 of said Code, Title and Subtitle; to
change exemption provisions of the grading and sediment
control subtitle; to permit certain information submitted by
professional landscape architects and land surveyors to be
acceptable for certain purposes;to clarify language and
establish certain permit issuance requirements; to add
irrevocable letters of credit as acceptable performance
guarantees for work required under permits, to change the
minimum requirement for affected land areas for which
grading permits are required; to establish certain permit
and renewal time limitations, to establish a fee for grading
permit renewals, and establishing certain language; to
establish certain stop work order and notice provisions; to
provide enforcement remedies for certain violations of the
subtitle; and generally relating to changes in the grading
and sediment control laws of Anne Arundel County.
