CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 1978-1
RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Vienna, Maryland,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended),
entitled "Corporation Municipal" to amend the Charter of The
Commissioners of Vienna by repealing and reenacting, with
amendments, Section 22—13 (new Section 22—12) entitled
"Violations of Ordinances" of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland entitled "Dorchester County" subtitle "Vienna"
to provide for penalties for violation of the ordinances in
the form of misdemeanors and municipal infractions.
[Section 22—13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Dorchester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BURGESS AND COMMISSIONERS OF
WALKERSVILLE, A BODY CORPORATE AND POLITIC OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, DATED JULY 24, 1967, AND INTRODUCED AT A REGULAR
MEETING OF THE BURGESS AND COMMISSIONERS TO PROVIDE FOR THE
ENLARGEMENT OF THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN OF
WALKERSVILLE BY EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN
AND IN SO DOING TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT WITH AMENDMENTS
SECTION 829, OF ARTICLE II OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS
OF MARYLAND (1930 EDITION) TITLE "FREDERICK COUNTY",
SUB-TITLE "WALKERSVILLE", AS CONTAINED IN SECTION 28-2 OF
THE FREDERICK COUNTY CODE, 1959; PROVIDING AS TO THE
CONDITIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES APPLICABLE TO THE CHANGE IN
BOUNDARIES TO THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY WITHIN THE AREA TO
BE ANNEXED: FURTHER PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF OF A PUBLIC
HEARING TO BE HELD BY THE BURGESS AND COMMISSIONERS, THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS RESOLUTION, IF ADOPTED, AND THE
REGISTRATION OF BOUNDARIES AS SET FORTH IN ARTICLE 23-A OF
THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND, 1965 SUPPLEMENT.
[Section 28-2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Frederick County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
