CHESTERTOWN
(Kent County)
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of Chestertown,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11—E
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Section 19
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1975
edition as amended, entitled "Municipal Corporations", to
amend the Charter of Chestertown, by adding new Section 2
(b) to the said Charter, this amendment to be entitled "1978
Chestertown Annexation No. 1", the same to extend the
boundaries of Chestertown.
[Section 100(c) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Kent County, added.

(Prince George's County)
Charter Amendment No. 2—78
Code of the Town of Cheverly, Maryland,
Changes in Section C—29 of the Charter
Portion thereof Entitled:
"Taxes: Levy, Collection, Assessments"
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of
Cheverly, Maryland find it desirable to keep the penalty
rate for late payment of real estate and business personal
property taxes consistent with those set by Prince George's
County; and
WHEREAS, County Council of Prince George's County has
adopted CB 157-1977 amending pertinent portions of the
Prince George's County Code, 1975 Edition, to set the
penalty rate at 1% of the amount of taxes overdue and in
arrears for each month or fraction thereof until paid.
[Section C-29 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, as found in the 1963 Edition and
1967 Supplement, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
