RESOLUTION FOR ANNEXATION

Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried
at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Town Council of
Accident, Maryland, duly convened and held on the 16 day of
June 1973, the following Resolution was adopted by unanimous
consent:

The Mayor and Town Council of Accident, Maryland,
having received a Petition requesting Annexation, this
Petition having been signed by more than twenty—five per
cent (25%) of the persons who reside in the area to be
annexed, and after having determined all signers are
registered as voters in County Elections and the said
signers own more than twenty—five per cent (25%) of the
assessed evaluation of the real property located in the area
to be annexed, and after having had a description and plat
prepared by a qualified surveyor, the description of the
said annexed being more specifically described as follows:

[Section 1-2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Garrett County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date June 16, 1973]
