Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and
Administrative Departments

221C.

(G) (1) THE SECRETARY OF LICENSING AND REGULATION
SHALL COLLECT FEES FOR EXAMINATIONS GIVEN BY NATIONAL
TESTING ASSOCIATIONS TO APPLICANTS APPLYING FOR LICENSURE
FROM THE AGENCIES WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND
REGULATION.

(2) THE LICENSING TESTING FUND IS CREATED
WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATION AS A
SPECIAL CHECKING ACCOUNT, TO BE USED TO DISBURSE MONEYS OWED
TO NATIONAL TESTING ASSOCIATIONS. ANY BALANCE IN THE
ACCOUNT NOT REQUIRED FOR TEST FUNDING SHALL REVERT TO THE
GENERAL FUNDS OF THE STATE AT THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July June 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

State Athletic Commission - Accounting of Gross Receipts

FOR the purpose of changing the time period in which holders
of certain boxing, sparring or wrestling matches must
file accounts of gross receipts and tickets with the
State Athletic Commission.
