AN ACT concerning

Insurance Commissioner - Public Adjuster Examination Fee

FOR the purpose of increasing the fee chargeable by the
Insurance Commissioner for the public adjuster
examination.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 48A - Insurance Code

Section 181(g)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 48A - Insurance Code

181.

(g) The Commissioner shall in order to determine the
competency of such applicant for a license to act as a
public adjuster require such applicant to submit to a
written examination for which a [$10.00] $15 fee shall be
charged.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Licensing and Regulation - Licensing Testing Fund

FOR the purpose of creating within the Department of
Licensing and Regulation the Licensing Testing Fund;
providing for the use of these funds; and empowering
the Secretary of Licensing and Regulation to collect
these funds.
