Senate Bill 359, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 29, 1979, accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
569.

AN ACT concerning

Water Quality Loan of 1968

FOR the purpose of amending the Water Quality Loan of 1968
to increase the maximum limitation on State loans to
assist in the construction of sewer facilities.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 570.

This bill amends the Water Quality Loan Act of 1968 to
increase the maximum limitation on State loans from $250,000
to $500,000.

Senate Bill 361, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 14, 1979 accomplishes the
same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
570.
