(7)    A MEMBER OF THE BOARD, APPOINTED BY THE
MAJORITY OF THE BOARD OF CENTER STAGE;

(8)    A MEMBER OF THE BOARD, APPOINTED BY THE
MAJORITY OF THE BOARD OF THE BALTIMORE CHORAL ARTS SOCIETY;

(9)    A MEMBER OF THE BOARD, APPOINTED BY THE
MAJORITY OF THE BOARD OF THE BALTIMORE CENTER FOR PERFORMING
ARTS, INC.;

(10)   A MEMBER OF THE BOARD, APPOINTED BY THE
MAJORITY OF THE BOARD OF THE MARYLAND ACADEMY OF SCIENCES;

(11)   A MEMBER OF THE BOARD, APPOINTED BY THE
MAJORITY OF THE BOARD OF THE MARYLAND BALLET COMPANY;

(12)   A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF A
CULTURAL INSTITUTION, ORGANIZATION, AGENCY, OR COMMISSION IN
EACH POLITICAL SUBDIVISION IN THE REGION, APPOINTED BY THE
CHIEF ELECTED OFFICIAL WITHIN THE POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.
THOSE MEMBERS SHALL SERVE FOR A TERM OF 2 YEARS AND MAY
SERVE NO MORE THAN TWO CONSECUTIVE TERMS; AND

(13)   TWO PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVES FROM EACH
POLITICAL SUBDIVISION WITHIN THE REGION, APPOINTED BY THE
CHIEF ELECTED OFFICIAL FROM THAT SUBDIVISION. SUCH
APPOINTMENTS SHALL BE MADE WITH CONSIDERATION TO CORPORATE,
COMMUNITY, AND OTHER SOCIOECONOMIC FACTORS PREVALENT IN THE
POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.

(C) THE MEMBERS OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL SHALL ELECT
ANNUALLY FROM ITS MEMBERSHIP A CHAIRPERSON, VICE
CHAIRPERSON, AND A SECRETARY-TREASURER.

THE COMMISSION MAY:

(1)    ADOPT AND ALTER AN OFFICIAL SEAL;

(2)    ADOPT BYLAWS FOR THE REGULATION OF ITS
AFFAIRS AND THE CONDUCT OF ITS BUSINESS;

(3)    PLAN, IN TERMS OF ASSESSING THE NEED FOR
NEW CAPITAL FACILITIES AS WEIL AS SEARCHING OUT POTENTIAL
SOURCES FOR CAPITAL FUNDING;

(4) COOPERATE WITH POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS AND
CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS WITHIN THE REGION IN REGARD TO
LOCATING PROPOSED FACILITIES;

(5) REVIEW PROPOSED FACILITY PLANS TO ASSESS
THESE PLANS FOR FUNDING REQUIREMENTS;
