(2) With the approval of the State
Superintendent, the Cecil County Board may transfer, with or
without charge, any of its property to the board of trustees
of a public community college.

(D) BALTIMORE COUNTY, BEFORE ANY PUBLIC SCHOOL IS

CLOSED OR CONVERTED TO SOME OTHER USE, THE BALTIMORE COUNTY

PLANNING BOARD SHALL SUBMIT BOARD OF EDUCATION MUST REQUEST

FROM THE BALTIMORE COUNTY OFFICE OF PLANNING A WRITTEN

RECOMMENDATION ON THE PROPOSED ACTION TO THE SCHOOL BOARD TO
BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE SCHOOL BOARD TAKES
ITS FINAL ACTION

(D) IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, THE BALTIMORE COUNTY BOARD OF

EDUCATION MUST NOTIFY THE BALTIMORE COUNTY OFFICE OF

PLANNING AND ZONING OF ANY SCHOOLS IT IS CONSIDERING FOR

CLOSURE AND REQUEST FROM THAT OFFICE A WRITTEN

RECOMMENDATION ON THE PROPOSED ACTION. IF THE OFFICE OF

PLANNING AND ZONING WISHES TO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION, IT MUST

BE SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER___1 OF THE

CALENDAR YEAR PRECEDING THE PROPOSED CLOSURE. ___THE BOARD OF

EDUCATION SHALL CONSIDER THESE RECOMMENDATIONS AT LEAST 3

MONTHS BEFORE TAKING FINAL ACTION. THESE PROVISIONS MAY BE
WAIVED BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Washington County — Personal Property Taxes

FOR the purpose of requiring certain businesses in
Washington County to pay a fee which will be applied to
their subsequent personal property taxes; requiring
that the Washington County Commissioners determine the
amount of the fee; and providing that the fee be paid
to the local tax collector.

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes
