AN ACT concerning

University of Maryland — Sale of Property

FOR the purpose of enabling the Board of Regents of the
University of Maryland, with approval of the Board of
Public Works, to sell certain property in Somerset
County and to apply the proceeds to acquisition of
certain property and improvement of Camp Thendara in

Dorchester County; and specifying that the sale

proceeds may not be applied to the Annuity Bond Fund
and requiring that the proceeds of the sale be applied
to the Annuity Bond Fund Account in the event that the
approval of the Board of Public Works is not obtained
within a certain time period,

BY adding to

Article — Education

Section 13-104(h)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Education

13-104.

(H) (1) WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
WORKS, THE BOARD MAY SELL ANY PART OF THE PROPERTY THAT
CONSISTS OF APPROXIMATELY 100 ACRES OF WOODLAND IN THE
WESTOVER ELECTION DISTRICT OF SOMERSET COUNTY.
