(b) Unlawful Conduct.
(1) A person may not loiter on or about any
commercial premises during ordinary business hours after
having been requested to leave by the owner, operator, or an
authorized agent of the owner and after having been
requested to leave by a police officer.
(2) A person may not loiter, without the
consent of the owner, operator, or authorized agent on any
commercial premises after those premises have been closed
for business purposes, and after having been requested to
leave by a police officer.
(3) A person or group of persons may not
assemble on a public sidewalk in Calvert County and conduct
themselves in such a manner as to unnecessarily interfere
with the use of the sidewalk as thoroughfare by the general
public[ , however].
(4) This section may not be construed as to
prevent any orderly picketing or other lawful assembly.
(c) Penalties.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this
subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof is subject to a fine of not more than $100, or
imprisoned for a term not to exceed [ten] 10 days, or both
fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the Court.
(d) Severability.
If any clause, the sentence, part or parts of this
section, shall be held unconstitutional or invalid that
unconstitutionality or invalidity may not affect the
validity of the remaining parts of this title or of any
section of it.
Agricultural Land Preservation Program
274. DEFINITIONS.
(a) In this subtitle the following words have the
meanings indicated.
(b) "A—1 zoned area" means an area designated by the
county zoning ordinance as Agricultural "A-1" District.
(c) "Agricultural preservation district" means at
least 300 acres of contiguous land or 500 acres of
noncontiguous land which is presently actively devoted to
agricultural or forest use.
(d) "Board" means the Agricultural Preservation
Advisory Board of Calvert County.
