(b)   Any person, firm or corporation who does not
desire to maintain and operate any such amusement devices
but merely to sell or lease the same, may obtain a license
therefor upon application to the said Clerk of Court and
upon the payment of an annual license fee of $1,000.00,
which license shall only authorize him to sell or lease such
amusement machines or devices to licensees for the
maintenance and operation of such amusement machines under
a license authorized by this sub—title, except as authorized
in Sub—section (a) of this section.

(c)   Said application shall be in writing under oath
and shall set forth the name of the applicant, a description
of the premises where such amusement devices are sought to
be maintained, a description of the amusement devices sought
to be licensed, sold or leased and such other information as
the said Clerk may require. Upon receipt of a properly
executed application and upon receipt of the proper license
fee, the said Clerk shall forthwith issue an appropriate
certificate evidencing that such license is thereby issued
and the required license fees are thereby paid and said
certificate shall enumerate and list a serial number for
each of the devices thereby licensed for said premises. At
the time of issuing said certificate, the Clerk shall also

issue__a metal plate which shall have stamped thereon a

number, corresponding to the number assigned to the, device

on__the certificate, which metal plate thereafter shall be

securely fastened to the amusement device in such a manner

as will be visible. All machines or devices licensed

hereunder shall be kept and maintained at all times within

the premises__of the licensee, away from windows and doors

and out of sight of the general public using the public
streets and thoroughfares.

(d)   Each distributor securing a license hereunder
shall on or before the tenth day of each month report the
name and address of every person, firm or corporation
residing or having a place of business in Calvert County, to

whom any such amusement machine or device has been sold___or

leased by him during the preceding month.

(e) All licenses issued under this section shall

expire on June 30 of each year. Each license fee shall be

pro—rated to the month__of issue, but no refund shall be

allowed for ceasing to exercise the privilege of the license
before expiration.]

[183.

(a) The Clerk of the Court shall on or before the 10th
day of each month pay from the funds theretofore received by
him under the provisions of Sections 181 to 185, inclusive,
the following payments to the Treasurer of the Calvert

County___Hospital of___Calvert County, Maryland, or to such

other person as the Board of Directors thereof may designate

subject to the approval of the said Board of___Directors, a

sum not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000)__received
