LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 630

(D) FOR A $1 FEE, THE BOARD SHALL APPROVE ANNUALLY
APPLICATIONS FOR ESTABLISHED APPLIANCE DEALERS TO MAKE
APPLIANCE INSTALLATIONS. SATISFACTORY BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,000 SHALL BE MADE TO CALVERT COUNTY AND THE WORK SHALL BE
DONE BY QUALIFIED WORKMEN WHOSE QUALIFICATIONS SHALL BE
DETERMINED BY THE APPLIANCE DEALER AND WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE
MASTER PLUMBERS. A PERMIT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION
OF APPLIANCES.

(Note: The provisions of this Section are proposed for
transfer from Section 248.)

170B.

A WHOLESALE PLUMBING DISTRIBUTOR OR MANUFACTURER MAY

NOT REFUSE TO__SELL TO ANY RETAIL PLUMBING OUTLET ANY

PLUMBING SUPPLIES, APPLIANCE OR FIXTURES OR ANY GOODS OF
THAT NATURE IN CALVERT COUNTY. ANY VIOLATION OF THIS
SECTION IS PUNISHABLE BY A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $100 FOR
EACH VIOLATION.

(Note: The provisions of this Section are proposed for
transfer from Section 249.)

EMPLOYMENT SECURITY ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

170C.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL PROVIDE THE NECESSARY

OFFICE SPACE AND CLERICAL HELP IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH A

FULL-TIME OFFICE OF THE STATE EMPLOYMENT SECURITY

ADMINISTRATION. THIS OFFICE SHALL BE LOCATED IN PRINCE
FREDERICK.

(Note: The provisions of this Section are proposed for
transfer from Section 119A.)

FAIR BOARD

170D.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL APPROPRIATE ANNUALLY NOT

LESS THAN $5,000 TO THE FAIR BOARD OF CALVERT__COUNTY WITH

THE SUM TO BE DISTRIBUTED ON A SEMIANNUAL BASIS.

(Note: The provisions of this Section are proposed for

transfer from Section 175(b).)

All owners and proprietors of lands in Calvert County
