[In the event of the adoption of the said system of
indexing in said court, the clerk is authorized to draw on
the County Commissioners for the sum of one hundred and
fifty dollars to pay for the right to use the same.]

Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article. See also

111.
The senior court reporter for Calvert County shall
receive a minimum salary of $22,500 as annual compensation.
The Calvert County Commissioners, however, may provide an
annual increase. This compensation shall be provided for in
the annual levy.
112.
The resident judge of the Circuit Court for Calvert
County, with the consent of the County Commissioners of
Calvert County, may appoint a law clerk who shall receive an
annual compensation which shall be fixed by the County
Commissioners, but which may not be in excess of $10,000.
This compensation shall be provided for in the annual levy
and paid as other expenses and salaries are paid for the
conduct of business of the Circuit Court.

[Before any deed or lease for the conveyance or lease
of real estate in Calvert County shall be received for
record by the clerk of the Circuit Court of Calvert County
the person offering said deed or lease for record shall
submit the same to the clerk to the County Commissioners of
said county, who shall thereupon make transfer on the county
assessment books of the property described in said deed or
lease to the name of the new owner or owners thereof, and as
evidence of said transfer, shall stamp upon said deed his
certificate thereof, and no deed shall be received for
record without said certificate. At the time of submitting
the deed or lease to the clerk to the County Commissioners,
the person or persons offering the same shall furnish said
clerk with a written statement subscribed by said person or
persons indicating the buildings, if any, upon the land
conveyed by said deed or lease, and the price paid for said
property.
The clerk of the Circuit Court of Calvert County is
hereby relieved of the necessity of furnishing to the County
Commissioners of said county lists of alienations, chancery
sales, judgments and decrees as heretofore required by law.]
