SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Commercial Law

Subtitle 4. [Unfair] Sales BELOW COST Act.

11-406.

This subtitle may be cited as the Maryland [Unfair]
Sales BELOW COST Act.

Subtitle 5. [Unfair] Cigarette Sales BELOW COST Act.

11-509.

Except as specifically provided by § 11-505 with
respect to combination sales and concessions, the Maryland
[Unfair] Sales BELOW COST Act does not apply to the sale of
cigarettes.

11-510.

This subtitle may be cited as the Maryland [Unfair]
Cigarette Sales BELOW COST Act.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

Circuit Court Judges

FOR the purpose of altering the number of judges of the
circuit courts in Anne Arundel, Charles, Montgomery,
Prince George's, and Worcester counties and the number
of the judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City.
