in the City of Baltimore, Maryland, including the
acquisition of land and the payment of architects' and
engineers' fees.
(b) (1) For the purpose of this section, the value
of bona fide and binding pledges of cash, guaranteed loans,
CHALLENGE GRANTS FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS,
and bona fide gifts of real property and/or buildings,
including real property and buildings condemned and donated
by public authority, which pledges, loans, GRANTS, and gifts
are acquired or donated for this project, shall be
considered as part of the funds required to be provided by
the Lyric Foundation, Inc., or its successor in interest[,
and Baltimore City,] under the terms of this section.
(2) The Board of Public Works shall determine
and establish the value of any property, other than cash,
and shall also determine whether or not any pledge of cash
is bona fide and binding or any loan is guaranteed so as to
meet the requirements necessary to be considered as part of
the funds.
(c) For the purpose of this section, any successor in
interest must be a tax exempt organization.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning
Montgomery County — Alcoholic Beverages
FOR the purpose of providing an additional class of license
in Montgomery County; providing a license fee and
specifying privileges for that class of license; and
making certain changes in style changing hours of
service of Class B, Class C, and Class B-BWL (H-M)
licenses in Montgomery County. permitting the holders
of certain alcoholic beverage licenses in Montgomery
County to exercise the privileges conferred by such
licenses from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays
under certain circumstances; and relating generally to
alcoholic beverages in Montgomery County.
