SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 25 - County Commissioners
51.
(t) The county treasurer of Kent County shall receive
an annual salary of $15,000 AND $5,000 ANNUALLY FOR
EXPENSES; and this shall be the sole compensation for
services performed by him of any character whatever,
including his capacity as a tax collector and issuance of
licenses. Any fees, commissions or other compensation paid
to the county treasurer pursuant to any other laws of Kent
County or the State of Maryland shall be accounted for by
the county treasurer and paid into the general funds of Kent
County.
Article - Transportation
13-404.
(c) (3) In addition to the registration fees required
by this title, the applicant for registration of a vehicle
shall pay a fee of 15 cents for the services of the county
treasurer in registering the vehicle. The county treasurer
shall retain this fee when remitting the other fees to the
Administration. THIS PARAGRAPH DOES NOT APPLY IN KENT
COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning
noncommercial Noncommercial Sports Crabber's License
FOR the purpose of providing for a noncommercial sports
crabber's license for those who catch crabs using a
trotline over a certain length; providing for a certain
fee and increasing the commercial crabber's license
fee; generally relating to noncommercial sports
crabbing; and clarifying language.
