University of Maryland - Baltimore City Campus - (1)
Replacement of roofs on Howard Hall, $204,400, and (2) the
Preparation of preliminary plans and specifications for an
interconnection between the helistop and the University of
Maryland Hospital, $25,000, as found on page 1-98, Volume I
of the Maryland State Budget for Fiscal Year ending June 30,
1978.
State Universities and Colleges - Bowie State College
Design and preparation of detailed plans and specifications
for alterations to Robinson Hall, $40,000, as found on page
ANDI-98, Volume I of the Maryland State Budget for the Fiscal
Year ending June 30, 1978.
State Universities and Colleges - Morgan State
University - (1) Design and preparation of detailed plans
and specifications for the replacement of steam return and
high pressure return system and the upgrading of the
electrical distribution system, $60,000, and (2) Design and
preparation of detailed plans and specifications for the
renovation and partial air conditioning of Hurt Gymnasium,
$25,000, as found on page I-99, Volume I of the Maryland
State Budget for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1978.
Department of Economic and Community Development -
Maryland Historical Trust - To provide a grant to the
Department of Natural Resources for restoration of Seneca
Schoolhouse located in the historic section of Poolesville,
$35,000, as found on page 1729 of Chapter 154 of the Laws of
1977.
Department of Economic and Community Development -
Maryland Historical Trust - To provide a grant to the City
of Baltimore for construction of the Bollman Water-Main
Bridge in Baltimore. This grant is contingent on a matching
Federal grant of $85,000 being made available, $55,000, as
found on page 1729 of Chapter 154 of the Laws of 1977.
SECTION 8 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the items
affected by the preceding Sections of this Act are described
in this Act by reference only; and each reference shall be
deemed to include the full description of the item,
including any restrictions or conditions, set forth in
Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973, Chapter 886 of the Acts of
1975, by Chapter 914 of the Acts of 1976, by Chapter 154 of
the Acts of 1977, Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1977, by
Chapter 897 of the Acts of 1977 or Chapter 671 of the Acts
of 1977, as the case may be. There shall be allowed an
additional period of two years, beginning on the effective
date of this Act, for placing the projects listed in the
preceding Sections under contract. If the projects, or any
of them, are not placed under contract within the two-year
period, then, as to any project not placed under contract,
