SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the

provisions of Section 8 of Chapter 914 of the Acts of 1976
as amended by Section 9 of Chapter 671 of the Acts of 1977,
be and they are hereby further suspended insofar as they
impose a time limit for placing under contract the following
project in Section 9 of Chapter 671.

Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Mental

Retardation Administration Victor Cullen Center Raze the

old powerhouse building, $75,000, Section 9 of Chapter 671
found on pages 2706 and 2707 of the Laws of 1977.

SECTION 7 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 8 of Chapter 671 of the Acts of 1977
and any other law imposing a time for placing under contract
projects included in item 23.05.02.01 of Section 1 of
Chapter 154 of the Acts of 1977 "Board of Public Works -
Capital Appropriations" as found on pages 1514, 1515 and
1729 of the Laws of 1977, be and they are hereby suspended
insofar as they impose a time limit for placing under
contract the following projects as set forth on pages 1-95
through I-100 of Volume 1 of the Maryland State Budget for
Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1978 submitted to the General
Assembly by the Governor;

Department of Natural Resources - Capital Programs
Administration - Maryland Park Service - Deep Creek State
Park - Construct a new storage building, $100,000, as found
on page I-95, Volume 1 of the Maryland State Budget for
Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1978.

Department of Natural Resources - Capital Programs
Administration - Maryland Park Service - Greenwell State
Park - Fund for detailed plans and specifications for
construction Phase I, $88,200, as found on page 1729 of
Chapter 154 of the Laws of 1977.

Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Mental
Retardation Administration - Headquarters - for the purchase
and renovation of construction of not more than 5 group
homes statewide, $450,000, as found on page 1-96 of Volume
I of the Maryland State Budget for Fiscal Year ending June
30, 1978.

Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Mental Health

Administration - Victor Cullen Center - To supplement the

appropriation "Raze the old powerhouse, school building and
annexes" $25,000 as found on page I-96, Volume I, of the
Maryland State Budget for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1978.

University of Maryland - College Park Campus - Energy
Conservation modifications, $300,000, as found on page I-98
