Headquarters for a Community Adult Rehabilitation

Center in Charles County and the State's share of the
costs for a pretrial facility in Charles County;
further suspending the provisions of Section 10 of
Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975, previously suspended
and amended by Chapter 897 of the Acts of 1977 relating
to the time by which the project contained in the
General Construction Loan of 1975 must be placed under
contract, insofar as those provisions relate to an item
in Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975 for the Department
of Economic and Community Development - Maryland
Historical Trust for restoration of the Vestry of St.
George's Protestant Episcopal Church; further
suspending the provisions of Section 1(8) of Chapter
671 of the Acts of 1977, relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan of
1977 must be placed under contract, insofar as those
provisions relate to items contained in Chapter 671 of
the Acts of 1977 for the Board of Public Works
General - for installation of overhead utilities lines
underground (Phase I) in Historic District of
Annapolis, for Board of Public Works - Annapolis - (1)
for construction of the Executive-Archival Building,
(2) to supplement the appropriations for "acquisition
of land and parking garage" as amended by the Acts of
1975 providing for the construction of the
Executive-Archival Building, (3) for utilities for the
Executive-Archival Building; for the Department of
Natural Resources - Merkle Wildlife Management Area
for renovation of existing barns to provide personnel
space and an observation area for public viewing of
wildlife; for State Universities and Colleges - Bowie
State College - to supplement the appropriation
"construction of an Entrance Road, Phase I"
University of Baltimore - for construction of an
addition to the Academic Center, further suspending the
provisions of Section 8 of Chapter 914 of the Acts of
1976, previously suspended by Chapter 671 of the Acts
of 1977 relating to the time by which the project
contained in the General Construction Loan of 1976 must
be placed under contract insofar as those provisions
relate to an item contained in Chapter 914 of the Acts

of 1976 for Department of Health and Mental Hygiene -----

Mental Retardation Administration -- Victor Cullen

Center for razing the old powerhouse building; further
suspending the provisions of Section 8 of Chapter 671
of the Acts of 1977 and other laws relating to the time
by which projects included in item 23.05.02.01 of
Section 1 of Chapter 154 of the Acts of 1977 "Board of
Public Works - Capital Appropriations" as found on
pages 1514, 1515 and 1729 of the Laws of 1977, relating
to the time by which these projects must be placed
under contract, insofar as those provisions relate to
items contained in pages 1-95 through I-100 of Volume I
of the Maryland State Budget for Fiscal Year ending
