The General Construction Loans of 1973, 1975, 1976, 1977
and the Maryland State Budget for Fiscal Year ending
June 30, 1978
FOR the purpose of further suspending the provisions of
Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973,
previously suspended by Chapter 563 of the Acts of 1975
and by Chapter 707 of the Acts of 1977, relating to the
time by which projects contained in the General
Construction Loan of 1973 must be placed under
contract, insofar as those provisions relate to items
contained in Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973 for the
Maryland State Police for acquisition of land and
preparation of preliminary plans and specifications for
the construction of the Golden Ring Barracks; further
suspending the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 886
of the Acts of 1975, previously suspended by Chapter
707 of the Acts of 1977, relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan of
1975 must be placed under contract, insofar as those
provisions relate to items contained in Chapter 886 of
the Acts of 1975 for the Board of Public Works for the
acquisition of a site and design and preparation of
detailed plans and specifications for the construction
of a District Court Building in Baltimore City, for the
Department of Natural Resources - Park Service
Administration for (1) the planning and preparation of
preliminary plans and specifications for the
construction of an addition to the office, storage
building, service year, and utilities at the Elk Neck
Black Hill Ranger Station, (2) the construction of a
concession building at Herrington Manor State Park, and
(3) planning and preparation of detailed plans and
specifications to construct an earth dam at Tuckahoe
State Park, for the Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services - Division of Correction
Central Laundry for detailed plans and specifications
to modify water distribution system, and for Maryland
State Police for planning and preparation of detailed
plans and specifications to renovate Building "I" at
Pikesville Headquarters, for State Colleges Bowie
State College for preparation of preliminary plans and
specifications for the renovation of Robinson Hall, for
Department of Economic and Community Development -
Maryland Historical Trust for Restoration of the Anne
Arundel Free School, Davidsonville, and a grant to
Johns Hopkins University to assist in restoration of
Homewood House, and for St. Mary's City Commission for
construction of a typical 17th Century domestic
dwelling for use as an exhibit building; further
suspending the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 886
of the Acts of 1975, previously suspended by Chapter
334 of the Acts of 1977, relating to the time by which
projects contained in the General Construction Loan of
1975 must be placed under contract, insofar as those
provisions relate to an item contained in Chapter 886
