LAW § 119(G)(1) AND (2) OF ARTICLE 43 OF THE CODE, AND the
utilization by licensed dentists of dental assistants
performing intraoral procedures. Persons licensed to
practice dentistry in the State of Maryland may assign to
qualified dental assistants procedures that do not require
the professional competence or skill of licensed dentists,
subject to such rules and regulations as the Board may
prescribe. The performance of any intraoral task by a
dental assistant shall be under the direct supervision of a
licensed dentist personally present in the office area in
which the duties are assigned.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning
Children - Contributing to Delinquency
FOR the purpose of removing from the jurisdiction of the
Juvenile Court the charge of Contributing to the
Delinquency of Children; and making the charge a
separate crime from any juvenile cause and triable in
the Criminal Court providing that upon motion of the
State's Attorney, an adult charged with causing,
encouraging or contributing to the delinquency or
certain other conditions of a juvenile shall be waived
from the jurisdiction of the juvenile court and tried
in the criminal court.
