AN ACT concerning

Motor Fuel Inspection Law - Expenditures
for Enforcement

FOR the purpose of transferring to the Session Laws
repealing certain provisions relating to the
administration and enforcement of the Motor Fuel
Inspection Law which had a certain effect for only one
fiscal year.

Preamble

WHEREAS, For the fiscal year 1974 Board approval was
required for necessary expenditures by the Comptroller to
enforce the provisions of this section dealing with
petroleum products, including employment of personnel. This
subsection applies only to fiscal year 1974- Since fiscal
year 1974 has passed this subsection is no longer
applicable; now, therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section (s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

[ (j) The Comptroller of the Treasury, with the
approval of the Board of Public Works, for the fiscal year
1974 may expend amounts he deems necessary and expedient for
the proper administration and enforcement of this subtitle.
