and receipt of a passing grade on the barber science
teacher's examination, a person SHALL BE ISSUED A BARBER
SCIENCE TEACHER'S LICENSE AND may then instruct students in
a barber school. ISSUANCE AND RENEWAL OF THE LICENSE ARE
SUBJECT TO AN ANNUAL LICENSE FEE. ALL BARBER SCIENCE
TEACHER'S LICENSES EXPIRE ON MAY 31 OF EACH YEAR.

(a) A license may not be issued or renewed nor an
application taken until the applicant pays the appropriate
fee as follows:

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Commissioner of Labor and Industry

FOR the purpose of repealing extending a time limitation on
the provision permitting the Commissioner of Labor and
Industry to accept certain federal money.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 336 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1976
Section 2

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY  OF

MARYLAND, That Section (s) 2 of Chapter 336 of the Acts     of

the General Assembly of 1976 be repealed, amended,   or
enacted to read as follows:

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976. [It shall remain
effective for a period of two four years and, at the end of
June 30, 1978 1980, and with no further action required by
the General Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no
further force and effect.]
