construction of any such project shall be regarded as a part
of the cost of such project and nay be reimbursed to said
board of trustees out of the proceeds of the revenue bonds
hereinafter authorized; (3) the term "housing unit" and the
term "housing units" shall mean and embrace housing
facilities and living accommodations which may include such
facilities as eating facilities, recreational facilities and
student facilities, and shall include student union
buildings; and (4) the term "related facilities" shall mean
and embrace but shall not necessarily be limited to eating
facilities, recreational facilities and student facilities.

14C. Same-—Powers of board of trustees generally.

In order to provide additional facilities for the
public colleges under its direction and control, the board
of trustees of St. Mary's College of Maryland is hereby
authorized and empowered, from time to time:

(a)   To construct, equip, maintain, repair and operate
one or more housing units for students, both graduate and
undergraduate, at each of the public colleges under its
direction and control;

(b)   To issue revenue bonds of the board of trustees
not to exceed in the aggregate $10 million for the purpose
of paying all or any part of the cost of any one or more of
said housing units;

(c)   To fix and revise, from time to time, fees, rents
and other charges for the use of such housing units;

(d)   To acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal
property in the exercise of its powers and the performance
of its duties under §§ 14B—14K, inclusive, of this subtitle;

(e)    To make and enter into all contracts and
agreements necessary or incidental to the performance of its
duties and the execution of its powers under §§ 14B—14K,
inclusive, of this subtitle, and to employ consulting
engineers, attorneys, construction and financial experts and
such other employees and agents as may be necessary in the
opinion of said board of trustees and to fix their
compensation; provided that all such acts and agreements
shall be payable solely from the proceeds of revenue bonds
issued under the provisions of §§ 14B-14K, inclusive, of
this subtitle, or from funds otherwise provided;

(f)   To receive and accept from the United States of
America or any agency thereof grants for or in aid of the
construction of any housing unit or any part thereof, and to
receive and accept aid or contributions from any source of
either money, property, labor or other things of value, to
be held, used and applied only for the purposes for which
such grants and contributions may be made; and

(g)    To do all acts and things necessary or convenient
to carry out the powers expressly granted by the provisions
